 Immortal King players get special events for the festive season

Publisher NGames have revealed a fun festive line-up of events and gifts for players of their popular Greek mythology MMORTS, Immortal King.

Since the game's launch in September, Immortal King has plunged players into a world steeped in Greek mythology, challenging them to command a powerful army of troops, become a legendary figure, and even conquer the infamous greek Gods themselves.

As a festive break from fighting Zeus (ruler of the skies), Poseidon (ruler of the seas), and Hades (ruler of the underworld) as they battle each other for control of Earth, the heroic players of Immortal King can take part in a series of special events, with free gifts on offer to all participating players.

Christmas Events

From December 19th – December 25th, players of IK can take part in a special Christmas socks collecting event, where they can win tons of gold coins, brand new gear, honour points and more.

There is also a new “Perfect Christmas tree” planted in the main city. Players who water the tree once a day will receive 5 new Orders and a great amount of prestige and silver for their accounts. The trees grow after each time they're watered – the higher the growth of the tree, the more prestige and silver players will earn.

Water the tree enough times and players can call upon Santa Claus's youngest granddaughter, Maiden Christmas, a rebel who never wants to go back to the North Pole and instead loves to fight with the coolest heroes in the land. She leads an army of reindeer and military band, enhancing hero's morale by up to +34 while reducing an enemy's by 10.

Logging in on Christmas day and clicking on the Christmas box at the top of the Temple and Arena will also reward players with a slew of mysterious free gifts.

Meanwhile, the VIP shop is open to all players and running a 20% discount on all items until December 27th.

Brand new Capricornus Fighter

NGames have proudly revealed a brand new Constellation hero that players can recruit between December 22nd and January 19th – Capricornus Fighter: Patron Saint of Capricornus.

The new Constellation hero, who is only available exclusively between these two dates and will not be available afterwards, will be rewarded to players for free when their top-up reaches 2,000 gold.

The constellation hero has a magnificent appearance, unique colour, and the ability to comand special soldier types and skills. Capricornus does not need Evolution and will automatically upgrade to a player's level with relatively higher attributes when acquired.

Players can collect Constellation heroes in Immortal King to boost the power of their vast armies. Once they have collected enough constellation heroes, special gear and a powerful, mysterious new hero will be unlocked.
